Yoran a.k.a. Yoji (Biomehanika) who released the historical masterpiece "Montparnasse" from Naoto Hayashi's legendary Unbalance Records as a high school student and career as a DJ has reached a global level since the 1990s. This is self-released single from 1989, the last release under Yoran's name. The A-side is "The Atomic Love" a slightly harder new wave number that foreshadows future developments. In contrast, the B-side includes “Who Can Stop The Fire,” which is wrapped in a telling vocal jazzy ambience. It's kind of sad number that somehow feels like it's the end.
高校生の時に制作された林直人による自主レーベルUnbalance Recordsからの歴史的名盤”Montparnasse"や90年代からはDJとしてのキャリアも世界レベルに到達するYoran a.k.a. Yoji (Biomehanika)による89年の自主制作シングル。Yoran名義ではラストとなる作品で、今後の展開を予感させるような少しハード目なニューウェーブナンバー”The Atomic Love”をA面。対照的にB面には語るようなヴォーカルのジャジーアンビエンスに包まれた”Who Can Stop The Fire”を収録。なんだか最後を感じてしまうような切ないナンバー。
