Japanese pressing 12" single of "L.A. Nights" from the 1984 album by jazz singer Yasuko Agawa. A-side's urban jazz classic composed by Augie Johnson of Side Effect seems to have been released in a reimported manner, showing excitement in the UK the year before this release, , B-side includes a cover of the jazz ballad "But Beautiful" and the Brazilian jazz classic "New York Afternoon" arranged by Viva Brazil and Masanori Sasaji. This B-side is also quite good and the 45 rpm sound quality is amazing.
ジャズシンガー阿川泰子の84年作に収録の”L.A. Nights”日本盤12インチシングル。こちらのリリース前年にUKにて盛り上がりを見せ逆輸入的にリリースされたようでSide EffectのAugie Johnson作曲のアーバン・ジャズ・クラシックをA面、B面にはジャズ・バラード"But Beautiful"、Viva Brazil,笹路正徳がアレンジを手掛けたブラジリアン・ジャズ・クラシック"New York Afternoon"のカバーを収録。このB面も本当にいいんです。45回転の音質も極上です。
