M Squared, a Sydney-based independent label known for discovering acts like The Makers Of The Dead Travel Fast and Systematics, has released numerous great pieces. This is the three-track debut single by Ya Ya Choral, a band formed by the same members of Systematics following the group’s breakup in 1982, led by scene figurehead Patrick Gibson. The content is outstanding, featuring the minimal wave track “Gods Buzzsaw” with ethereal synths and driving rhythm machine, "dislocated" wave track “Nonsense” and “Waiting Time” sung by Fiona Graham, which pounds out a medium-tempo minimal beat. Every release on this label has become a rarity.
