Joe Hisaishi's only work and true masterpiece under the name of Wonder City Orchestra released in 1982 when he started solo production. It's like a milestone for Ghibli and the soundtrack, expressing Hisaishi's view of space, fantasy and ethnic music that seems to flow from his roots.
