1985 release album by violist William Senna was released by Carmo, the label led by the legendary Brazilian musician Egberto Gismonti. While it includes tracks featuring Gismonti and his then-wife Dulce Bressane, the focus is primarily on viola solos. You'll find yourself captivated by the overflowing, passionate resonance of the viola. The composition is also masterful, seamlessly blending in tracks with synths and vocals. The recording, which conveys a sense of spaciousness, is also brilliant. In great condition.
ご存知ブラジルの至宝Egberto Gismonti率いるCarmoよりリリースされたヴィオラ奏者William Sennaによる85年作。Gismontiと当時の奥方Dulce Bressaneをフィーチャーした楽曲も収録されていますがヴィオラ・ソロを中心に収録。情熱を感じるような溢れ出るヴィオラの響きを持った楽曲の数々。知らぬまに聞き入ってしまいます。シンセや歌声が入る曲も違和感なく溶け込んでいる構成も見事。広がりを感じ取るような録音がまた素晴らしいです。盤面非常に良好。
