A gem of sound collage and musique concrète was produced by Italian composer/flautist Walter Maioli, known for his activities with Aktuala, Futuro Antico, Art Of Primitive Sound, and sound recordist Fred Gales. This is said to be a sister work to the masterpiece "Amazonia 6891" released the following year, and is a radical and experimental soundscape work of about 60 minutes that explores the gap between the past and the unknown world, collaging various sound sources such as field recordings on the island of Java off the coast of Amsterdam, songs from around the world played on the radio, ethnic music, animal sounds, spoken language, more and more. Why did we think it was Java? There was a building that operated the shipping route to the Dutch East Indies, especially to Java, and it seems that it was almost stopped after Indonesia's independence, and in the 1980s squatters, artists, and homeless people occupied many of the buildings in this area. Perhaps that is what the description says about the "end of the world". The yellow sleeve is a distinctive design, but the white sleeve is what seems to be the second edition. Checked and it doesn't seem to be a fake. Please be careful of this when purchasing.
