1986 debut album by Kanako Wada, a singer who gained popularity through insert songs for the anime ”Kimagure Orange Road”. In addition to the debut track "Passing Through" produced by Tetsuji Hayashi and the album features quality tracks composed and arranged by the likes of Tsugutoshi Goto, Akira Mitake, and Masanori Sasaji. Highlights include the quintessential Tsugutoshi Goto style urban boogie track "Toki ni... Hagurete"; mid-tempo funk number "Rouge wa Wasurenai" with a vibe reminiscent of Japanese reggae, breezy synth-pop "1000-Carat no Koibito" arranged by Akira Mitake and the adult-oriented mellow track "Feedback". In excellent condition with obi.
アニメ『きまぐれオレンジ☆ロード』の挿入歌で人気を得た歌手 和田加奈子の86年のデヴュー・アルバム。林哲司プロデュースのデヴュー曲”Passing Through”以外にも後藤次利, 三岳章, 笹路正徳などが作編曲を手掛けた良質の楽曲を収録。中でも後藤次利らしいアーバン・ブギー”時に・・・はぐれて”、和レゲエ解釈もできそうなミッド・ファンク”Rougeは忘れない”、三岳章スコアによるブリージン・シンセ・ポップ”１０００カラットの恋人”、アダルトオリエンテッド・メロウ”Feedback”あたりオススメ。超美品帯付き。
