Argo, the pioneering Lithuanian electronic group led by composer Giedrius Kuprevičius. This 1982 spoken word piece features Argo providing backing to readings of poetry by Vincas Krėvė, a poet and playwright born in 1882 who was also widely active in the United States. Alongside its experimental aspects and ambient sensibilities, this obscure work reveals a spiritual quality reflecting the background of the original text, “The Giant's Grave”. First edition from 1982. Disc NM condition.
作曲家Giedrius Kuprevičius率いたリトアニアの先駆的電子グループArgo。本作は1882年生まれでアメリカでも広く活躍した詩人/劇作家Vincas Krėvėの詩の朗読にArgoがバッキングを務めた1982年録音スポークンワード作品。実験的な側面とアンビエンスな感覚が溶け合った演奏を聴かせる秘境的作品と共に『巨人の墓』という原作の持つ背景を映し出したスピリチュアルな趣も感じさせます。82年の初版。オリジナルPS付NMコンディション。
