Japanese anthropologist Junzo Kawada visited the Kingdom of Haute-Volta (now Burkina Faso) in West Africa 14 times from 1962 to 1982, and recorded his field research for a total of 7 years. Each half hour of the film is divided into four themes, and features live local voices, songs, and performances. A valuable cassette book integrated with a book containing literature, photographs, and research materials. A series of wonderful sounds.
