From around 1982 to 1986, Tra Project was a medium that incorporated not only music, but also fashion, art and culture, and was sold in record shops and bookstores in Japan and other countries. This release was produced in 1984 and comes with a comic book and cassette tape in an elaborate case. On the music side, a number of unique artists contributed to the album, including the mysterious ennui-pop "Muse of the Highlands" by pianist Minako Hojyo, the new wave track "Hi - Hi - Hi - Hi" by Yoshinori Toda of SPY fame, and the impressive "Tetsujin Tarzan" with its strange beat, featuring Katsuya Kobayashi of the Snake Man Show and saxophone player Genji Sawai. Thick comics are also works of art with a high content. A valuable complete set.
82年頃から86年頃まで音楽だけではなくファッション、アート、カルチャーなどを取り込んだ媒体で日本や諸外国のレコード店、本屋などで展開していたTra Project。本作は付属の凝った作りのケースにコミック、カセットテープがついた84年制作作品。音楽面では個性的なアーティストが楽曲を提供していて、中でもピアニスト北条美奈子による不思議なアンニュイポップ”高原のミューズ”、SPYで知られる戸田吉則によるニューウェーヴトラック”Hi - Hi - Hi - Hi”、スネークマンショー小林克也とサックスプレイヤー沢井原兒が参加したストレンジ・ビートが印象的な”Tetsujin Tarzan”など面白いです。分厚いコミックも内容量高めのアート作品としてもお楽しみ頂けます。貴重なコンプリートセット。
