A compilation album from Box Music, a label led by Screen's Koji Wakui, known for releasing works by artists like Lion Merry and Suho. Although their releases are limited, Speaking Furniture who have left a strong impression with their tracks on the Science Art Label compilation, stand out with ethnic-oriental wave track “Collaged Squall” that combines various percussion instruments, toy-piano-like tones, and expertly placed synths. Other recommended artists include Peaters who has contributed tracks to releases such as the Hi'lde cassette book and Carbolic Acid Water, for their sharp synth-wave sound.
Lion MerryやSuhoをリリースしたScreenの和久井光司が率いたレーベルBox Musicのコンピレーションアルバム。注目はリリースこそ限られているもののScience Art Labelコンピレーションでも印象的な楽曲を残すSpeaking Furnitureによる様々な打楽器、トイピアノのような音色、絶妙に挿入されるシンセなどが組み合わされたエスニック・オリエンタル・ウェーブ”Collaged Squall”がやはりひとつ抜けてるかな。その他Hi'ldeカセットブックなどに楽曲提供しているPeatersやキレあるシンセ・ウェーブを聞かせるCarbolic Acid Waterなどオススメ。
