A series of cassette releases produced by the British label Touch between 1982 and 1989. This 1983 release is one of the earliest entries in the series, a “cassette magazine” that included audio tracks by artists aligned with the label, accompanied by 30 postcards. Featuring a rich lineup that includes nightmarish electronic tracks by the virtual girl duo Deux Filles, Virginia Astley’s fluid electronic music interwoven with bird calls, electronic new age by John Foxx, and minimal wave by The Nocturnal Emissions. It is an outstanding work that demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, extending right down to the specially designed plastic outer sleeve featuring insect-themed artwork. Beautuful condition.
