Image album of "Fancy Dance" serialized from 1984 to 1990 by Reiko Okano, a manga artist, produced with the participation of gorgeous members. The album contains mainly new wave-style tracks that are divided into two parts, "Earthly Desires" and "Training", Among them is the oriental wave tune "醫人見空中華" by Phonogenix, led by Haruhiko Tsuda, who is also known for his collaboration with Masashi Kitamura, "Mercury Impulse" a fantastical urban tune by guitarist Chuji Akagi, mysterious and experimental approach of "踏破澄覃月穿開碧落天" by Ichiko Hashimoto, and the electronic wave "Coup de Grace" by genious musician BAnaNA are particular recommended. Very rare record version.
豪華メンバーが参加して制作された漫画家 岡野玲子が84年から90年にかけて連載された「ファンシィダンス」のイメージアルバム。煩悩と修行の2パートに別れたニューウェーブ調のトラックを中心に収録されていて、中でも北村昌士との共作でも知られる津田治彦率いるPhonogenixが手掛けたオリエンタル・ウェーブ・チューン”醫人見空中華”やギタリスト赤城忠治が手掛けたファンタジー感に富んだアーバン・チューン”Mercury Impulse”、橋本一子手掛けるミステリアスで実験的なアプローチの”踏破澄覃月穿開碧落天”、才人BAnaNAが手掛けた電子ウェーブ”Coup de Grace”などオススメ。CDも手に入れにくくなっていますが更に稀少なレコード版です。
