In-store BGM compilation CD made for MUJI, which was innovative at the time and is now known worldwide. Actually, our focus is the tunes of Haruomi Hosono and Akio Niitsu on Disc 1. Haruomi Hosono's side features "Orginal BGM" a gentle 15-minute ambient track, and "Talking" which is also included in the cassette book "Watering a Flower". Akio Niitsu's side contains a total of eight tracks produced mainly with programming and keyboards on the theme of star, and both T7/T9 tracks are particularly wonderful. Akio Niitsu's ones are included only on this CD.
当時は革新的だったという、今では世界的に知られる無印良品の為に制作された店内用BGMコンピレーションCD。当店的にやはり注目はDisc1の細野晴臣と新津章夫の楽曲。細野晴臣サイドは15分間の優しいアンビエント・トラック"Orginal BGM"、カセットブック「花に水」にも収録の”Talking"。新津章夫サイドは星をテーマにした打ち込みとキーボードメインで制作された全8曲を収録、特にT7/T9の両曲が素晴らしいです。新津章夫の楽曲はこのCDのみに収録。
