The Gran Chaco region is located east of the Andes Mountains and spans Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. This collection of recordings focuses on Argentina. Contains sacred scenes that have been passed down in the region for a long time, such as dance songs that appeal to women, festival songs, musical expressions of shamanic therapy, horns and drums, shaman songs that communicate with the wind. The shaman's therapy session in A16 is especially impressive. Great recording piece.
アンデス山脈の東に位置し、ボリビア、パラグアイ、アルゼンチン、ブラジルにまたがるグランチャコ地域。本作は数多くの名作を残す米Lyrichordが手掛けた、その中でもアルゼンチンに焦点を当てた録音集。女性に対してアピールをするダンスの歌、祭りの歌、シャーマニズム療法の音楽的表現、ホーンやドラムの演奏、風と交信するシャーマンの歌などなど長きに渡り現地に伝わる神聖な場面を収録。とりわけA16のシャーマンの療法セッションは圧巻。素晴らしい録音物。
