This is a collection of Kariyushi (meaning auspicious) songs sung by a group led by the legendary Shoei Kina, who has continued to support Okinawan Min'yō with his beautiful voice and overflowing ideas. It's typical of Okinawa, where celebrations are valued, and highlights include groovy number "Toshiyori wa Takara" woven by Chiyoji Yamakawa and Shoei Kina's koto, "Kekkonshukuga no Uta" (Wedding Celebration Song) led by a diverse range of tones and graced by the vocals of three women, and "Shiraho Bushi" & "Takozan" with its fast playing that makes us imagine the audience dancing and Shoei Kina's masterful vocals.

美声とあふれるアイデアで沖縄民謡を支え続けたレジェンド喜納昌永を中心とした編成で唄われるかりゆし（めでたいの意）曲集。祝い事を大切にする沖縄らしい作品で、中でも山川千代治と喜納昌永の琴が織り成すグルーヴィな最高の一曲”年寄は宝”、多彩な音色で音頭を取りながら女性三人によるヴォーカルが華を添える”結婚祝賀の唄”、聴衆が踊るのが目に浮かぶような早弾きと喜納昌永のヴォーカルが素晴らしい”白保節”, "多幸山"は白眉。
