Edward Vesala, Pekka Pöyry, Paroni Paakkunainen, Teppo Hauta-aho, Mircea Stan, Mike Koskinen. This is the only masterpiece from 1972 by the all star Finnish avant garde jazz sextet Tuohi Klang. Include wonderful "A-Vara" that manipulates tempo as if you are watching a movie, playful piece "Marssi For Keinonen" that even includes the sound of a cat but the performance reaches amazing heights in parts, and "Interlude" is centered around Paroni Paakkunainen's trumpet, which seems to be filled with spirit, on A-side Two songs on the B-side feature improvisations that evoke indigenous folklore. This work tells the story of Finland at that time, when there was one of the most chaotic creative music scenes in the world. This was the last release from the cult private label UFO, which ended its activities after this work. There are some thin scratches at the end of A1 and the beginning of A2, and a small pop at the beginning of B1, but we don't think either is that serious. All songs have been recorded for a long time from the start, so please check them out.
