This 1976 released work was left by Peer International Library Limited, the parent label of Bruton Music, one of the prestigious UK library label, which has released many excellent works. It was produced by composer Trevor Duncan, who previously worked as a sound engineer and music producer at the BBC. As the title suggests, the 14 tracks are composed like a collection of sounds for spending an elegant time. Among the highlights are easy listening number "Voice On The Wind" with wind-swept and soft melody, and gentle slow tune "Girl from Crete" that evokes the Mediterranean. The other tracks are also good with playful and graceful feel. The cover is just tempting.
UKライブラリー名門の一角Bruton Musicのペアレントレーベルでもあり多くの良作が眠るPeer International Library Limitedに残された76年の作品。手掛けているのは古くはBBCにてサウンドエンジニア兼音楽プロデューサーとして活動していたコンポーザーTrevor Duncan。タイトルからも想像できる優雅な時間を過ごすためのサウンド集のような全14曲。中でも風が抜けていく柔らかなメロディのイージーリスニング・ナンバー”Voice On The Wind”と地中海をイメージした穏やかなスロー・チューン”Girl From Crete”の2曲が素晴らしい。他にも遊び心が効いた楽曲や優美な質感の楽曲を全編に収録しています。グリーンのカバーアートも大変美しい。
