Composer Tsuyoshi Tanpo studied music theory, composition, and piano technique at Brooklyn Academy of Music. After returning to Japan, he studied under Tomoyuki Hayashi, known for the masterpiece "Color Message" series, and has since worked on a wide range of music, primarily for broadcast programs. This is believed to be his only record production from 1989. It's a compilation of music he had created up to that point for TV specials and videos, and it creates stand-out new age/ambient sound inspired by sky = sola and nature. In recent years, he has been working on the production methods of own studio and nurturing the next generation of artists, which he calls dandelion field, 

ブルックリン音学院にて音楽理論、作曲法、ピアノ技法を学び、帰国後は傑作”Color Message”シリーズで知られる林知行に師事し放送番組を中心に多数の音楽を手掛けてきた作曲家 丹保剛。本作は彼のレコード作品としては唯一と思われる89年の自主制作盤。構成はそれまでに制作したきたテレビの特別番組とビデオの為の音楽の編集盤ですが、空や自然現象をインスピレーションにした秀逸なニューエイジ/アンビエントサウンドを作り上げています。全編素晴らしい。近年はdandelion fieldと銘打った自作スタジオの設計方法や後進のアーティスト育成に従事しているようです。
