Tomas Gubitsch, a guitarist from Buenos Aires. He joined Spinetta's Invisible at a young age and also performed and toured with Ástor Piazzolla and Rodolfo Mederos. He settled in France in the late 70s and continues to be active today. This album released in France in 1986. The album features a wonderful lineup ranging from emotional guitar-led contemporary jazz reminiscent of ECM to modern tango featuring bandoneon. Think this is a surprisingly underrated work. The jacket has some minor dirt and one punch hole, but the disc is in great condition.
ブエノスアイレス出身のギタリストTomas Gubitsch。若くしてスピネッタ率いるInvisibleのメンバーとして活動しそれ以外にもÁstor PiazzollaやRodolfo Mederosとの共演やツアーを共にし70年代後半からはフランスへ定住し現在も活躍を続けている。今作は86年にフランスにてリリースされたジャズ～コンテンポラリー作品。情緒豊かなギターが先導するECMにも通じるようなコンテンポラリージャズからバンドネオンを入れたモダンタンゴまで素晴らしい楽曲が並びます。意外と知られていない作品と思います。ジャケットに多少の汚れとパンチホールありますが盤面は良好です。
