12” release from 1986 by Swedish keyboardist Tom Wolgers, who has released solo works while also playing in several new wave and pop bands. It features 4 new age/ambient tracks, created by collaging environmental sounds and vocal samples around soft synths and piano. Percussion and drones are interwoven, producing a cool and melancholic atmosphere characteristic of Scandinavia. Also recommend listening at 33 rpm for a more relaxed listening experience.
いくつかのニューウェーブバンドやポップバンドと並行しながらソロ作品をリリースしてきたスウェーデン人鍵盤奏者Tom Wolgersによる86年の12寸盤。柔らかなシンセやピアノを中心に環境音やヴォイス・サンプルをコラージュさせたニューエイジ/アンビエント全4曲を収録。パーカッションやドローンも織り交ぜ北欧らしいひんやりとしたメランコリーが心地よく響いてきます。よりゆったりと聞ける33回転で聴くのも推薦。
