The second album by The Shadow Ring, an experimental group formed in Cheriton, Kent, England, that continued its own evolutionary experiments until the mid-2000s. Here, Graham Lambkin and Darren Harris continue their experimentation as a duo before becoming a three-piece band. All 10 tracks play a consistently sluggish and mysterious minimalism that sounds like the blues. Each track also possesses a rhythmic spirit that avoids becoming monotonous. Highly recommended, just like their first album.
