Terri Gore from North Carolina is a singer who represents the beach music scene and has won awards in addition to hit songs in the late 90's. This 1984 album is considered to be the first album includes disco, AOR, and smooth soul that is very typical of this era. The title track "Movin' On" which also released as a single and is hard to find, followed by breathy AOR tune "I'm Hurtin'" and boogie-style "Mean Ole World" on the A-side. Our recommended B side has sparkling killer boogie B3 "Blind Luck" and the smooth jazz groove B2 "Laugh, Smile, And Cry". Great minor disco piece. Jacket is also hot. Beautiful condition in shrink.
ビーチ・ミュージック・シーンを代表する歌手であり、90年代後半にはヒット曲に加えアワードなども獲得しているノースカロライナ出身のTerri Gore。本作はいかにもこの時代らしいディスコ～AOR～スムース・ソウルまで収録をしたおそらくファーストアルバムと思われる84年作。シングルもリリースされ入手困難となっているタイトル曲”Movin' On”を皮切りにブリージンなAORチューン”I'm Hurtin'”、ブギースタイルの”Mean Ole World”のA面。当店的ハイライトは煌めくキラーブギーB3”Blind Luck”、スムースなジャズ・グルーブB2”Laugh, Smile, And Cry”を収録のB面。ジャケもイカしてます。シュリンク付き美盤。
