The Kyoto version is one of the ten works in the ”Ion Series” released by Takashi Kokubo, Japan's leading environmental musician and sound environment designer, between 1992 and 1993. The forest where the Kokubo's studio is located in Yamanashi Prefecture is called "Ion Forest", and the works were made there. An ambient/new age work inspired by Kyoto, which has a history and tradition of 1200 years, such as temple bells, the voice of the sutras, and the gentle breeze across the bamboo forest. Comes with a scented insert.
日本を代表する環境音楽家/音環境デザイナー 小久保隆が92～93年にかけてリリースしたイオンシリーズと名付けた全10作品の内のひとつとなる京都編。山梨県にある氏のスタジオがある森を”イオンの森”と呼んでいたようでそこで作られた作品群。寺の鐘、読経の声、竹林をわたるすずやかな風など千二百年の歴史と伝統を持つ京都からインスピレーションを得て作られたアンビエント/ニューエイジ作品。香り付きのインサート付き。
