Raoul Binot, a multi-artist from Pienne in northeastern France, continues to participate in edgey works and festivals. This piece is a collection of tracks from a theater production released in 1977, for which he provided the entire score. Simple acoustic guitar and percussion intertwine with the adorable vocals of 9 year old girl, male and female choruses, spoken dialogue, creating enchanting magical folky tracks. The addition of French accents that heighten the sense of ennui creates a captivating atmosphere. Released on the Corelia label, which acted as an intermediary for small, independent artists and local choirs, it is likely a small pressing.

現在も先鋭的な作品やフェスティバル等へ参加するフランス北東部ピエンヌ出身のマルチアーティストRaoul Binot。本作は77年にリリースされた彼が全編音楽を担当したシアター作品の為の楽曲集。アコースティックギターやパーカッションのシンプルな演奏に9歳の女の子の愛らしいヴォーカル、男女コーラス、台詞が入り混じり、魔法にかけられたようなフォーキーな楽曲が並びます。アンニュイな気分を高めるようなフランス語のアクセントも加わり魅惑的な空気感を醸し出しています。小規模な自立系アーティストや地域の合唱団などを仲介する役割を担ったリリースを行っていたCoreliaレーベルより。おそらく少ないプレス数と推測されます。
