1990 album by French multi-instrumentalist Sylvain Kassap. The standout track is undoubtedly “... Et D'Équerre,” which takes off midway through as the saxophone, trombone, and Latin percussion create a surging, doped-up atmosphere. Also features the intense “El Papagayo Se Tue” and “Le Chant Des Saxifrages” which showcases a brilliant saxophone and a layered ensemble. It explores a unique style of experimental jazz/post-free, where the raw vitality of acoustic instruments and electronic sound manipulation flow effortlessly back and forth. Deadstock.
