It features 5 tracks of Afro sound, a modern update of traditional Bambara music incorporating Afro-Cuban and Rumba Congolese influences. Their long career, dating back to around 1960, is evident in their skilled playing and powerful, polished sound. Particularly noteworthy are \"So Karafe,\" which could be described as Afro-Balearic with its brightly shimmering electric guitar accompaniment and vocals, and the approximately 15-minute hypnotic minimal Afro piece \"Nyangaran Foli,\" where electric guitar and percussion intertwine seamlessly.
