Sukisuki Switch is an amorphous band led by vocalist/guitarist Yukio Sato. Their active period appears to have been from 1979 to 1983, their musicality which included the participation of World Standard's Soichiro Suzuki and expanded the possibilities of pop music, remains a major influence even today. This is 5 Flexi-disc set of edited live sound sources up to around 1982. It contains a lot of home-made music and pop music with a shimmering and dreamy atmosphere like a home recording. There is also a CD re-release, but we feel it's better to enjoy the dangerous material and sound quality of Flexi-disc. The booklet-type sleeve was hand-made by Shinei(?), the grandfather of Yukio Sato. Heirloom!
ヴォーカル/ギターを務めた佐藤幸雄を中心とした不定形バンドすきすきスウィッチ。活動期間は79年から83年頃までのようですが、現World Standerdの鈴木惣一朗も参加しポップミュージックの可能性を広めたその音楽性は現在も大きな足跡として刻まれています。本作は82年頃までのライブ音源を編集したソノシート5枚組作品。宅録にような煌めきや夢心地な空気感を持ったホームメイド音楽からポップミュージックをこれでもかと収録。CD版もありますがソノシートのような危なっかしい媒体で楽しむのがやっぱり吉な気がします。佐藤幸雄の祖父江慎の手によるブックレット型スリーブも素晴らしいとしか言えない手仕事感。これは家宝にどうぞ。
