1994 self-released cassette was released on his own label by musician/flautist Spirit Force, who is currently active in a wide range of fields including producing, recording, filming, radio, and television. As the title suggests, this hour-long work takes you to another world, combining field recorded material from California, Washington and Canada, including capes, beaches, national parks, Indian settlements with flutes, electronic instruments, tribal instruments. Side A is more spiritual, focusing on new age to ethno ambient, while side B is more mysterious, with glimpses of experimental sound work, mainly using the material. The overall structure is also amazing. A wonderful piece.
現在はプロデュース、レコーディング、撮影、ラジオ、テレビ等、多岐に渡る活動を続ける音楽家/フルート奏者Spirit Forceが自主レーベルよりリリースした94年作。タイトルからも推測されるようにカルフォルニア～ワシントン～カナダに至る岬、ビーチ、国立公園、インディアン居住区等でのフィールド録音素材とフルート、電子楽器、トライバルインストゥルメントを組み合わせた別世界へ誘う60分に及ぶ作品。A面はよりスピリチュアルなニューエイジ～エスノアンビエント中心、B面では素材をメインに実験的な音響工作も垣間見れるミステリアスな内容。全編の構成も見事。素敵な作品です。
