The only release from Spider's Web, released in 1991, and the first release from Elfish, an important underground Greek label in the 1990s. The members include Giannis Papaioannou, Makis Faros, Leonidas Papadakis, members of Raw, who released the masterpiece "Land", and bassist Spyros Faros (ex Headleaders). The sound is combination of new wave and post-punk, but also includes some interesting rhythmic experimentation and glimpses of Arthur Russell's influences. Among them are strange synth wave“Heartbeat” with tangled beat and intersecting vocals and synths, dark wave type track “The Feedbacker” a with key of drumming and washed‐out wave “Ship Of Fools”, are the best. Limited to 500 copies. The left side of the jacket is burnt.
90年代のギリシャの重要な拠点Elfishレーベルの1弾リリースでもあるSpider's Webによる91年の唯一作。メンバーには名作「Land」を残すRawのメンバーでもGiannis Papaioannou, Makis Faros, Leonidas Papadakisやベース奏者Spyros Faros (ex Headleaders)が連ねています。ニューウェーヴやポストパンクを通過したサウンドですがリズムの実験やArthur Russellのユーモアさも垣間見える興味深い全6曲を収録。中でもビートがもつれながらヴォーカルとシンセが交差するストレンジ・シンセ・ウェーヴ”Heartbeat”、ドラミングが肝のダーク・ウェーブ”The Feedbacker”、脱力系の”Ship Of Fools”が最高です。500枚限定。ジャケット左側に焼けあり。
