Released in 1986 by the unique group Special Fun based in Santa Cruz, California. The album is mainly a mixture of percussion ensemble and new wave/soft rock style, and the B-side, which includes the smooth ethno number "Felucca Journey" and the Balearic-tinged soft rock number "I Think So" is especially great. The A-side, which is mainly danceable and includes tasty ethno-blues rock "Red Hot Rhythm," is not bad either. The artwork is also amazing. There are also other unknown cassette releases.
カルフォルニア・サンタクルスを拠点にした異色のグループSpecial Funの86年作。打楽器アンサンブルとニューウェーブ/ソフトロックなどを混ぜ合わせたようなミクスチャー・ロックが主体ですが気持ちいいリズムを刻むスムース・エスノ・ナンバー”Felucca Journey”とバレアリック雰囲気のソフトロック・ナンバー”I Think So”を収録したB面が特に素晴らしい。味わいあるエスノ・ブルース・ロック"Red Hot Rhythm"を含んだダンサンブルな曲中心のA面もも悪くないです。アートワークもいいですね。他にも知られざるカセットリリースもあるようです。
