The cover is eye-catching. Side A with serious title, is a song by Shojiro Matsuda, in which he expresses the feelings of mother during wartime through dialogue and uta-sanshin. The koto is played by China Sadao's father, Teihan China. Side B is a recording of a stand-up comedy routine by Oyadomari Ryoan, who left behind many masterpieces, and includes "Naha Tug-of-War Mongen," in which the dialogue surges forth, accompanied by gongs and bells. It's impressive. Both sides are wonderful.
目を引くアートワーク。シリアスなタイトルのA面は松田正次郎による戦時中の母親の気持ちをセリフを交え歌三線で表したもの。琴は知名定男の父親知名定繁。B面は数々の名作を残した親泊良安の漫談の様子を収録した楽曲で銅鑼や鉦とともに台詞が畳みかけるように迫ってくる”那覇 綱引き文言”を収録。ごっついです。両面共素晴らしい。
