1975 release album by Sharifah Aini, a Malaysian national singer who left behind many works. Side A features her signature mellow funk "Irama Cintaku" and a cover of ABBA, while our recommendation is side B, which includes a variety of genre-crossing tracks arranged by mainly great Malaysian composer Ahmad Nawab. Particularly great are the psychedelic Malay pop "Pujaan Hatiku" with mysterious moody synths, the percussive Arabic-style "Kisah Yang Lalu," and the seductive slow funk "Kepulangan Ayah". Well produced album.

マレーシアの国民的シンガーとして数多くの作品を残したSharifah Ainiによる75年作。代表曲のメロウ・ファンク”Irama Cintaku”やABBAのカバーなどを収録したA面に対して、当店的にはB面のマレーシアの大作曲家Ahmad Nawabがアレンジを手掛けた多様なジャンルを横断した楽曲を含むB面をレコメンド。特に怪しげなシンセがムードを醸すサイケマレー歌謡”Pujaan Hatiku”、アラビック雰囲気のパーカッシブな”Kisah Yang Lalu”、妖艶なスローファンク”Kepulangan Ayah”が最高。非常によくできたアルバムです。
