Ronald Snijders, a Dutch flutist/multi instrumentalist of Surinamese descent, released this masterpiece in 1980. This self-performed multi-recorded album features a large number of ethnic instruments, synth, electric piano, guitar, bass and more, all performed by the artist himself. The album contains 8 tracks that have an elegant flute melody, an extraordinary sense of rhythm, dopeness, and compositional ability, and it is no exaggeration to say that he has it all. Our personal favorite is “Soweto Friend” which starts gently, builds a sacred mood, intensifies the funkiness, adds drums, and finishes with deep dope vibe. Experience the quality that defies its private release status. Original.
