Second album in 1985 by Picky Picnic, an obscure duo known for their playful avant-garde new wave and experimental pop tunes using cute children's voices, and also known that it corresponded with the world such as Germany's prestigious Ata Tak label and The Residents. This is the Japanese version of the same album released by Ata Tak. Wonder if the fluffy and innocent atmosphere but the high-quality and gimmicked sound tightens the whole. Among them, A5 "Really? and B2 "Got Out Lullaby" are particularly interesting. Hard to fine recently.
ドイツ名門Ata TakレーベルやThe Residentsなど世界と呼応していた事でも知られ、キュートな子供の声を使った遊び心のあるアヴァンギャルドなニューウェーブやエクスペリメンタルなポップ・チューンが代名詞のオブスキュア・デュオPicky Picnicの85年のセカンドアルバム。こちらはそのAta Takからリリースされた同作品の日本規格盤。ふわふわとした天真爛漫な雰囲気ながらも上質でギミックの効いたサウンドが全体を引き締めているのかな？中でもA5”ほんとかな？"やB2”ガット・アウト・ららばい”なんかは特に面白いですね。近年再評価著しい一枚。
