Pedro Aznar, one of Argentina's most important artists, has remained at the forefront of the music scene throughout his career from the legendary Serú Girán, through his solo work, to joining the Pat Metheny Group and continues to be active today. This second album, released in 1984 during his time with the Pat Metheny Group, stands alongside his debut as a benchmark for the Argentine mellow sound. 7 tracks in total, “Para Acunar A Leila” represents the pinnacle of mellow fusion, evolving from elegant piano and rhythm machine textures into a spacious vocal landscape enhanced by Pomo Lorenzo's drumming, “23” a beautiful journey exceeding 11 minutes, embodies the spirit of the group featuring Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays (Pedro Aznar wrote on his 23rd birthday, July 23rd), “Candombegle” seemingly inspired by Egle Martin's historic work “El Dombe” featuring Osvaldo Fattoruso on candombe, and “A La Hora Que Se Duermen Los Trenes”, “La Noche Sueña Al Día” sung with a weighty presence as if reading Jorge Lencina's lyrics, which was also released as a single. An undeniably great album. Original, great condition with original inner sleeve.
