The label "Switch" is known for its mysteriously attractive artists such as Akio Niitsu and Ayuo Takahashi and its releases of 45 rpm mini-album style, which were popular at the time. This mini album features Tori Kudo and other underground artists such as Masaru Arakawa, Setsuko Hara, Akihiro Ishiwata, and as the name suggests, the four tunes are mainly chanson type tune with an avant/modern classical feel that reminds one of Paris. The scenic "Istanbul" and the comical and elegant "Quizás Quizas Quizas" are great.
新津章夫や高橋鮎生など不思議な魅力のアーティスト、当時の流行りであったという45回転のミニアルバム仕様のリリースで知られるレーベル”Switch”。本作は工藤冬里を筆頭に荒川勝、原節子、石渡明廣などアンダーグラウンドのアーティストを揃えて、その名の通りパリを思い起こさせるようなアヴァン/モダンクラシカル感覚のシャンソンを中心とした全4曲。情緒豊かな”Istanbul”、コミカル＆エレガントな”Quizás Quizas Quizas”が最高です。
