Otto De Rojas led many bands in the 1970s, including Bossa 70, which produced masterpiece of Peruvian Brazilian music. This album is one of those, a collection of disco/funk covers released in 1976. All the tracks have a pleasant vibe, amoung them we especially recommend mellow instrumental funk "El Tema De "Coco"", which is a different arrangement of tune by co-arranger Victor "Coco" Salazar (ex Black Sugar), and mid-funk "Get Dancin" with clever arrangement. Many of these are in poor condition, but this one is in pretty good condition.
ペルー産ブラジリアンの名作を生み出したBossa 70はじめ70年代を中心に多くのバンドを指揮したOtto De Rojas。本作はそのひとつに数えられる76年リリースのディスコ/ファンクカバー集。どの曲も心地いいバイブスですが当店的には共同アレンジャーでもあるVictor "Coco" Salazar(ex Black Sugar)の楽曲の異なるアレンジのメロウ・インスト・ファンク”El Tema De "Coco"”やアレンジの妙が光るミッド・ファンキー”Get Dancin”は特にオススメ。コンデション悪いものも多いですが非常にいい状態です。
