Nocturnal Emissions, a sound art project led by Nigel Ayers, released this album in 1983. The 12 tracks are based on thick industrial beats, which could be described as effected black American beats and are layered with experimental, tribal, dub, dance elements, etc. Some moments are reminiscent of too early Detroit techno. Genius men.
Nigel Ayersが率いたサウンド・アート・プロジェクトNocturnal Emissionsによる83年作。エフェクトのかかったブラック・アメリカン・ビートとも評される太いインダストリアル・ビートを基にエクスペリメンタル、トライバル、ダブ、ダンス要素等が重ねられた全12曲。早すぎたデトロイト・テクノを彷彿とさせるような瞬間も。特にB面。やっぱりこの人天才です。
