Mexican composer/producer Nacho Méndez began his career in the 1950s, produced a wide range of music including tropical, jazz, bossa nova, and scores for film and theater. This his leader album released in 1975 produced with his cousins Nando Estevané Méndez and Memo Méndez Guiú. While heavily utilizing synthesizers and centered around jazz and bossa nova with mature mood, especially the title track “3 x 2 + 1” stands out, features sparkling electronic sounds performed on organ, synth, glockenspiel, and more, swirling and building in intensity. The rest of the album is also fantastic interweaving tasteful cover songs. Arrived in miraculously pristine condition with shrink (it's gatefold sleeve but has not been opened).

50年代より活動をはじめトロピカル、ジャズ、ボサノバ、映画や舞台用音楽まで幅広い音楽を手掛けたメキシコの大作曲家/プロデューサーNacho Méndez。本作は75年にリリースされた従兄弟であるNando Estevané MéndezとMemo Méndez Guiúと共に制作されたリーダー作品。シンセサイザーを大々的にフィーチャーしながら熟年のムード漂うジャズ～ボサノバを中心に収録していますが、ラストのオルガン、シンセ、鉄琴グロッケンシュピール等で演われる煌めく電子音が旋回しながら熱を帯びていくタイトル曲”3 x 2 + 1”が異色かつキラーな仕上り。それ以外も渋いカバー曲も織り交ぜた抜群の内容です。盤面ほぼ未使用と思われるシュリンク付き（見開きですが開けてません、動画の画像は個人的なコピーより）の奇跡的な超美品で入荷。
