Formed in Illinois, USA, around leader and steel pan player Todd Donnelly, Mr. Myers is a Caribbean rock band that continues to perform today with a sound blending calypso, Latin, reggae, and beach music. This is their 1986 debut album. From energetic to laid-back tarck, all of which are of quality and suitable for any occasion. Highlights include the melancholic calypso “What’s Done Is Done” which begins with a cool steel pan intro, exhilarating Caribbean fusion “Simple Minds” sweet mellow ballad “So Long” and the technical reggae fusion track “Do Right By Me”. Perfect for the coming season.
