The members were Irishman Leo Gillespie (vocals\/guitar), British musician Jerry Field (violin) and Frenchman Didier Malherbe (flute) who would later become an early member of Gong. Recorded in a single take after the band was invited into a studio while performing on the streets of Paris in 1969, it seems this was essentially a project they were duped into, the title was chosen without their consent, they weren’t informed of the release, and they didn’t receive a single penny. However, judging from the members' subsequent achievements, it possesses a strange persuasiveness and a remarkable level of musical perfection that is immediately apparent. It’s that feeling where hippie, acid, psychedelic, organic, and chamber music blend together exquisitely.
