The only album by Morning Calm, a French-British hippie folk group formed in Paris. The members were Irishman Leo Gillespie (vocals/guitar), British musician Jerry Field (violin) and Frenchman Didier Malherbe (flute) who would later become an early member of Gong. Recorded in a single take after the band was invited into a studio while performing on the streets of Paris in 1969, it seems this was essentially a project they were duped into, the title was chosen without their consent, they weren’t informed of the release, and they didn’t receive a single penny. However, judging from the members' subsequent achievements, it possesses a strange persuasiveness and a remarkable level of musical perfection that is immediately apparent. It’s that feeling where hippie, acid, psychedelic, organic, and chamber music blend together exquisitely. The cover ironically is also quite appealing.
メンバーはアイルランド人Leo Gillespie(Vo/Gu)にGongの初期メンバーとなるイギリス人Jerry Field(Violin)とフランス人Didier Malherbe(Flute)の混成。
