Monoton is a leading Austrian electronic unit formed by Konrad Becker, whose activities are too diverse to list here, including sound art, psychoacoustics, and contemporary dance. This is first album released in 1980. A total 6 tracks of experimental electric acoustic sounds that make you feel strict minimalism created from dubbed rhythm machines, multiple instruments processed with effects, etc. Synths and hard beats that you can listen to endlessly. True gem. Thier histrical next work "Monotonprodukt 07"is also amazing and showcases a variety of electronic sounds, but we prefer this one. Blue vinyl is cool too. Limited edition of 500 pressed original piece.
サウンド・アート、音響心理学、コンテンポラリー・ダンスなどここでは列挙できないほど多岐に渡る活動を続けるKonrad Beckerが結成したオーストリアン電子ユニットの代表的存在Monoton。80年リリースの初作。ダブ処理されたリズムマシン、エフェクト加工された複数の楽器等から生み出された厳格なミニマリズムが宿る実験音響サウンド全6曲。シンセと硬質ビートに耳を澄ますと延々と聞いていられる。最高にかっこいいです。次作となる多彩なエレクトロニクスを披露した82年の歴"Monotonprodukt 07"も凄いですが、当店はこちら推し。ブルーヴァイナルも惚れ惚れします。リミテッド500枚プレスのオリジナル盤です。
