Self-released in France in 1986 by Moloungue Bahonda, an unknown percussionist believed to be from Congo. The title Tam-Tams seem to pay homage to an informal event where percussionists, dancers, and others gather every week during the warm season at Mount Royal Park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where the official language is French. Total 6 tracks, including "Tohu-Bohu", which has an obscure feel that carves various polyrhythms and slow sticky groove "Ethiopie". Under the radar and cover is also amazing.
