Midi Duo, a one-off project by multi-instrumentalists Federico Laterza and Francesco Consaga, who have released modern ethno works since 90's. This 1989 album was produced in a different style from his subsequent works that used wind synths, synths, drum machines. Total 13 tracks that blend ethno, new age, and sounds from around the world with jazz undertones and series of tracks of around 3-4 minutes reminds historical Italy library works. Starting with "Little Road", "Blu", and "Atzeco", every track is captivating. Invited by the warm and cheerful atmosphere, we pulled out the last stock.
90年以降にもモダンエスノ作品をリリースしているマルチ奏者Federico LaterzaとFrancesco ConsagaによるワンオフプロジェクトMidi Duo。ウインドシンセ、シンセ、ドラムマシーンを使用した以降の作品とは異なる趣向で制作された89年作。ジャズを下地にエスノ、ニューエイジ、世界各地の音響が溶け合った全13曲。3-4分前後の楽曲の連なりも強烈なライブラリー作品群を持つイタリアの歴史を思わせてくれます。"Little Road"、”Blu”、”Atzeco”などを筆頭にどの曲も惚れ惚れします。温かな陽気に誘われて最後のストック引っ張り出してきました。
