A split LP from 1990 by synth player/composer Vangelis Katsoulis, known for “Minimal Suite” and composer Michalis Grigoriou produced by Greek radio station. The Vangelis Katsoulis side, which depicts a dreamscape as seen in the title, consists of four parts, from dreamy synth to chamber music featuring saxophone, flute, guitar, and violin based on minimal compositions. A gentle and enveloping soundscape emerges. The Michalis Grigoriou side is made up of 6 tracks inspired by weird novel. It unfolds like a fantasy world that becomes increasingly insane. Both sides are excellent. It's a shame that the pressing isn't quality.
ギリシャのラジオ局が制作した”Minimal Suite”で知られるシンセ奏者Vangelis Katsoulisと作曲家Michalis Grigoriouによる90年のスプリットLP。タイトルにも見て取れる夢の風景を描いたVangelis Katsoulisサイドはミニマル・コンポジションを基にシンセ主体の楽曲からサックス、フルート、ギター、バイオリンをフィーチャーした室内楽風の曲まで全4部構成。まろやかに包み込むような音景が浮かびます。Michalis Grigoriouサイドは怪奇小説にインスパイアされた全6曲の構成。どんどん狂気的になっていく仮想世界を描いたような展開となっていきます。両面共に素晴らしい出来栄え。プレスがあまりよくない所が少し残念。
