Medeo was formed around Vladimir Nazarov, a member of Kazakhstan's ethno-jazz group Boomerang. Although group has collaborated with some singers (also great!), this is thier only album. Contains mainly synth fusion based on jazz but with more freely. First of all, the cosmic fusion "Охотник, Cюита" on last track that incorporates the ambient part is the best. Other tracks including electronic spacey lounge and ambient fusion are also interesing. It's an amazing group with a cutting-edge sensibility that incorporates a sense of experimentation and minimalism.
カザフスタンのエスノジャズグループBoomerangのメンバーVladimir Nazarov中心に結成されたMedeo。シンガーとのコラボレーション作品も残していますが（これまた最高！）、本作は唯一と思われる単独名義作。ジャズを基盤としながらより自由度が増したシンセフュージョンを中心に収録。まずラストに収録のアンビエントパートを入れ込んだコズミック・フュージョン”Охотник, Cюита”が何と言っても。他にも電子スペイシーラウンジやアンビエント・フュージョンまで色々面白い事やってる全6曲の構成。実験感覚やミニマルを取り入れた先鋭的な感覚を持ったグループです。
