The first solo album recorded in 1996 by alto saxophonist and free improviser Masayoshi Urabe. While the artist is clearly a follower heavily influenced by Kaoru Abe, the album offers a pleasing listening experience that balances an edgy performance style with a sense of lingering resonance, allowing the listener to savor the spaces between the notes. Personally, this is one of our favorite improvisation albums. A rare release limited to 200 copies.
アルトサックス奏者/フリーインプロヴァイザー浦邊雅祥が96年に録音したファーストソロアルバム。阿部薫に強い影響を受けているフォロワーのようですが、それを感じさせながらも間を楽しむ余韻とエッジの効いた演奏がバランスよく配置されている心地よい演奏が収められています。個人的に非常に好きなインプロアルバム。200部限定の貴重盤。
