A solo work in 1988 by edgy violinist Masatsugu Shinozaki, who has performed with Yas-Kaz. In addition to violin, percussion, shakuhachi, saxophone, cello, and other instruments are incorporated throughout this contemporary music. Total 8 tracks includes A2 "From A Distance" with its finely detailed tones, the deep contemporary ambient A3 "Soil Eyes" and the ethno-style programmed track B1 "The Warrior Of Rino". Total sophisticated piece.
Yas-Kazらと共演を重ねた前衛的ヴァイオリ二スト篠崎正嗣による88年のソロ名義作品。ヴァイオリンの他にもパーカッション、尺八、サックス、チェロ等を取り入れたコンテンポラリー・ミュージックを全編に収録。きめ細やかな音色が広がるA2”From A Distance”、深遠なコンテンポラリー・アンビエントA3”Soil Eyes”、エスノ調の打ち込み曲B1”The Warrior Of Rino”を筆頭にした全8曲。非常に洗練された作品です。
